Course Objective

It is aimed to learn the content and purposes of the rules regulating the rights of the married woman in labour and social security law by examining these rights and rules in a systematical method. In this context, students may develop views and solutions on the application of the rules regarding married woman s labor and social security rights.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to determine the content of the legislation regulating the rights of the married woman in labour and social security law and its international sources
2   To be able to explain functions of the norms related to the rights of the married woman in labour and social security law
3   To be able to connect the rules concerning the rights of the married woman in labour and social security law with present cases
4   To be able to examine current applications of the rights of the married woman in labour and social security law and judicial decisions in particular
5   To be able to evaluate new proposals about regulations with current rules
6   To be able to reach a synthesis of the rules regulating the rights of the married woman in labour and social security law

4 The protection of woman in terms of the employer's obligation to treat equally
5 The protection of woman against working with definite and part-time employment conract
6 The protection of woman in the termination of contract with notice period
7 The protection of woman in the termination of contract for just cause
8 Midterm exam
9 The protection of woman in terms of wage
10 The protection of woman in terms of working hours
11 The protection of woman in terms of working age
12 The protection of woman in terms of works to be employed
13 The protection of woman in the scope of union and collective labour law
14 Maternity insurance
