Course Objective

In the modernization process, national state concept is emergence and this modernization process Armenians national identity is construction and Ottoman National Syastem was effected that construction. Besides this effect, imperialism and French Revolution which are a global event, they also effected Armenians national identity.
This course is aim to Turkish and Armenian claims compare with objective historical methodology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to learn Ottoman National System.
2   to conceive nationalism effect in the national state construction process
3   to learn nationalism theories and In these theories to anlayse Armenian national identity construction.
4   to analyse Turkish and Armenian claims
5   to analyse Armenian issue how can effected Turkish Foreign Policy
