Course Objective

This course aims to ensure students to have knowledge on description, classification and calculation of impacts of external forces and loads of devices and machines on engineering constructs and also students will be learned vector explanations of moment and handle.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Description, classification and calculation of impacts of external forces and loads of devices and machines on engineering constructs and vector explanations of moment and handle.
2   Ability to calculation of resultant force and moment on solids and particles, reduction to screw.
3   Ability to define balance conditions and draw free-body diagram.
4   Abilty to calculation of internal forces of many elements pulled out.
5   Ability to calculation of forces of lattice, frame and machines on elements in balanced conditions under external loadings.
6   Description and calculation of center of gravity, area, moment of inertia.
7   Law of Friction.
