Course Objective

To bring new horizons to the students of Tourism Management, to guide the students with the guiding nature of the course topics, to provide the students with a vision by determining the requirements of the age and the evolutionary points in the age of industry 4.0. To enable students to have an idea about the future of Tourism Management.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   By learning the relationship between Industry 4.0 and Tourism, to touch on the concepts of smart tourism and Tourism 4.0
2   Establishing the connection of Industry 4.0 elements such as Cloud Computing, Augmented Reality, Internet of Things and Big Data with Tourism and Hotel Management and supporting them with Tourism 4.0
3   . To understand the issues related to the use of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in Tourism
4   To comprehend the place and importance of social media in the development of tourism
5   Understanding the use of robot technologies in Tourism
6   Understanding the relationship between future technologies, smart cities and the future of Tourism
7   To learn about Digital Gastronomy
8   Explaining artificial intelligence applications in businesses with the concept of tourism
