Course Objective

To gain knowledge and understanding about cardiovascular disorders and nursing care.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Based on nursing postgraduate qualifications, to be able to develop knowledge in the field of cardiology nursing on the level of expertise
2   To be able to create new information by integrating information in the field of cardiology nursing and information came from another discipline
3   To be able to reflect to nursing care by using problem solving ability that interalized knowledge in the field of cardiology nursing
4   To be able to critically evaluate information about the field of cardiology nursing
5   Present the up-to-date developments in the field of cardiology nursing and her/his own studies to groups inside and outside of the field in a written, verbal and visual way.

Assessment Criteria

Presentation skill of the student, her/his preparation to the subject and participation in discussions will be assessed as the midterm exam.
The skills of interpretation, decision making, explanation and knowledge combination will be assessed in the final exam.
