Course Objective

This course aims the postgraduate students in Surgical Nursing to make researches in literature, to have information about actual nursing issues, to write report/essay by synthesizing these informations, to discuss and present them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student reviews literature in detail about the actual innovations in Surgical Diseases Nursing
2   The student synthesizes these informations, analyze them with quantitive and qualitative datas and interpret and assess them .
3   The student makes a scientific report or essay with the results he/she gets.
4   The student presents the results in written, orally or visually in a scientific journal, congress or symposium in the field of surgical diseases nursing.

Assessment Criteria

The sudents skills in literature review, data collecting, compiling, analysing and writing and presenting the results as an essay or a report will be assessed by the presentation of report/essay and report/compilation they have prepared at the end of the semester as successful/unsuccessful.
