Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students gain current knowledge about acute and critic patient care by being aware of ethical and patient safety and professional role and importance of emergency nursing in line with evidence based sources, national and international standards and guides.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students explain professional role and importance of emergency nursing
2   They explain advanced interventions in acute and critic patient care in emergency.
3   They analyze the data of patients in emergency, early diagnose the problems and explain priorities.
4   They discuss the importance of patient safety and national and international standards in emergency in line with evidence based guides.
5   They explain the importance of legal and ethical subjects in emergency nursing
6   They maintain reaching new knowledge and personal development in emergency nursing
