Course Objective |
In this course, it is aimed that the student shall know palliative care purpose, philosophy and principles as well as responsibilities of palliative care team, determine the necessities of the patient and the patient s family, plan nursing interventions directed at pain and other symptoms of patient in need of palliative care, communicate with the patient and the patient s family, plan the care of dying patient and her/his family, knows the posthumous care of the patient, plan the care of the family in mourning process |
