Course Objective

Assess description of grammar terms (noun, verb, adjective, adverb, clause, group, subject, verb, object) in Turkish grammar works (in course materials and famous grammar works) with a linguistic approach; adopt the approach which describe Turkish grammar elements in terms of linguistic datas; study on student-centered grammar teaching models and strategies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the difference between linguistics and grammar
2   Examine the specifies of modern Turkish grammar teaching
3   Learn additives of linguistics to grammar teaching
4   Learn main aspects of a linguistic teaching and grammar examining
5   Learn methods and strategies which teach linguistics the way that students learn themselves and teach in context.
