Course Objective

To be able to have knowledge about the approaches and models in teaching first reading, writing and Turkish and to understand the importance of teaching this field.

1   Knows the history of first literacy and Turkish education.
2   Understands the importance of the first literacy and Turkish teaching.
3   Have knowledge about contemporary approaches and models in this field.
4   Formulate new suggestions for field teaching by synthesizing the information learned.
