Course Objective

To contribute participants to develop their academic writing skills in mathematics education by the way of comprehending them the general principles of academic writing.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To comprehend the differences between academic writing and other writings.
2   To comprehend the types of academic writing, basic properties of each type and the differences between them.
3   To comprehend the need for IMRAD and the properties of this writing template.
4   To comprehend and explain the differences of the process between writing presentation, article, poster and dissertation.
5   To be able to do academic writing in mathematics education and to present it.
