Course Objective

Analyzing Western art from Romanticism till the 20th century on an advanced level, researching Romanticism, Orientalism and Neoclassicism, researching art movements in the second half of the 19th century, researching art movements in the 20th century, examining the relationship between different branches of art.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1	Knowing Western art history from Romanticism till the 20th century.
2	Knowing the general characteristics of Romanticism, identifying the artists.
3	Exploring Orientalism.
4	Knowing the general characteristics of Neoclassicism, identifying the artists.
