Aims to approach graphic design theoretically as well as through application and to increase the knowledge and the cultivation concerned.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowing the development of Graphic Design and Designers.
2   Knowing the beginning of poster art in France. (Cheret ve Loutrec, Mucha)
3   Knowing Bauhaus and Cuban poster art and the usage of photography in poster design.
4   Knowing international typography design and Polish poster art.
5   Knowing Turkish poster art. (from Ihap Hulusi Görey to Mengü Ertel)
6   Knowing Poster design and printing Technologies.
7   Designing a big size movie poster.
8   Making a seminar about poster.
