Course Objective

to know the definition of color, to recognize the primary and secondary colors of the light , to recognize the primary and secondary colors of the paint, to recognize pigments of paint primary colors, to know the colors formed by the mixture of Paint Combinations along with Complementary and Neighboring colors, to know the color space and to conduct research on this subject, to be able to know the color, the color spaces CIE Lab, CMY, RGB, HSV, HLS, HSI, CIE, XYZ used in the definition of color universe, and such definitions as nuance, brightness, saturation utilized, in color definitions and formations, to know the colors of light and the spectrum, to know the old theories such as Young-Helmholtz, Brevester, Münsel and the latest color theories used in our present day.

7   to know that CMY colors of black paint are formed with subractive methods

1 To obtain Secondary Colors of CMY Primary Colors with one by one mixture. Exam.
2 Continuation. What should we do to find the darkest black

4 To obtain achromatic colors with mixture of Complementary colors in 10 grades. Theorists of Color Theory
5 Continuation. To talk about the old theories like Young-Helmholtz, Brevester, Münsel and the latest color theories used today.

Every student has to prepare seminars, present facts and carry out discussion activities on Light Colors, Paint Colors, Complementary Colors, Black concept, White concept, Color Theories and Color Theorists by selectively.
