Course Objective

The main aim of the course is to analysis that role of maritime transport in the framework of the international energy corridors.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analyzing the strategic development in terms of the transportation of energy,
2   Assess political and economic risks of energy transportation corridors
3   Evaluate the importance of chokepoints and major maritime routes.
4   Evaluation of the primary (crude oil, natural gas, coal) and secondary (electric) energy sources that "international energy corridors" perspective in terms of maritime and pipeline transportation.
5   Türkiye's strategic position and the energy corridors within the framework of the students informed about current developments.
