Course Objective

Interpreting correctly Anatolian Turkish Art and Architecture.Determining the identity of the Ottoman Architecture in the general characteristics of Islamic art and architecture. Emphasizing the significance of the Ottoman monumental architecture in the history of architecture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains knowledge to recognize the historical environment as a whole and evaluates from a broad perspective.
2   Understands the problems of the Anatolian Turkish Art and Architecture, reviews in the right perspective.
3   Determines the identity of the architectural styles and buildings.
4   Determines the problem related to the field and can design solutions with alternatives projects.
