Course Objective

The aim of this course is to establish a relationship between theology and literature and to examine this relationship from a philosophical perspective. In the content of the course, the works of selected philosophers and literary thinkers are evaluated.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to recognize prejudices that prevent correct thinking; can distinguish between religious and non-religious things by learning about the relationship between religious literature and literature-philosophy.
2   Recognize the sources related to the Philosophy of Religion and Literature; Students will be able to obtain detailed information about the contributions of literature to religion and religion to literature.
3   Examines literary works from a philosophical point of view.
4   Examines, analyzes and criticizes various books.
5   Will be able to comprehend the nature of literary texts that enrich religious thought.
