Course Objective

To show the connections and relations between religious sciences and making theoretical integration among them; therefore, to provide those who is researching in these fields to get benefits from philosophy and ability to make objective and analytical criticism; to help them in protecting their objectivity and scientific attitudes in a highest level

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student, at the end of the semester, will understand the relation between philosophy and social sciences
2   They will understand the relation between philosophy and religious sciences.
3   They will see and compare that how these religious sciences take the problem which he is researching
4   They will see the scientific level of their research
5   They will contribute the science by not felling in repetition in his research

2 Common sense and its contribution to the science.
3 Common sense as a cause of prejudices.
4 Science and ethics as terms.
5 Science and ethics in terms of their goals.
6 Philosophy and common sense, and common sense's philosophical values.
7 Common sense and religion.
8 Common sense as misleaders in religion.
9 Religion, language, and philosophy.
10 Philosophy and religious language.
11 Philosophical language and daily language.
12 Those problems above and their contribution to the science.
13 Social being area. General assessment of scientific criteria.
14 General Evaluation

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Students will see the differences between various religious sciences; and as a researcher in these fields, improve their abilities of getting benefit from philosophy, analyzing and understanding and protecting their scientific skills and being able to be objective in their research

Assessment Criteria

Students' achievements are calculated from the results of mid-term exam, homework assignments, final exam and active participation to the lecture
