Course Objective

To provide students to get knowledge about positions of women in various religions. It is aimed that student will learn how the scriptures are mentioning about women.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students shall learn the place and importance of women in Judaism.
2   Students shall learn the place and importance of women in Christianity.
3   Students shall learn the place and importance of women in Hinduism.
4   Students shall learn the place and importance of women in Buddhism.
5   Students shall have the ability of comparison of perceptions of women in various religions.
