Course Objective

It is aimed to analyze religious and cultural basis of purification and enligtenment in the Indian Religions. Students will get knowledge about yoga and meditation both theoretically and practically.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students shall learn the ways of salvation in Hinduism.
2   Students shall learn how the yoga technique developed in Hindu scriptures.
3   Students shall learn the meditation practices and nirvana concept in Buddhism.
4   Students shall learn the meditation practices in Jainism and Sikhism.
5   Students shall learn the meaning of yoga practices in Indian philosophy and cultere.
