Course Objective

By teaching the student the Tafsir problems of nowadays in understanding and interpreting the Qur an and the methodological approach in solving these problems, we aim to make the students able to achieve the necessary knowledge and analysis formulations needed to answer the various religious issues in their professional and everyday life.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Realize the Tafsir problems of nowadays in understanding and interpreting the Qur an.
2   Understand the methodological approach in solving the Tafsir problems.
3   Achieve the necessary knowledge and analysis formulations needed to solve these problems when faced.
4   Know the academic activities produced by the Mufassirs in order to interpret Qur an within the framework of the problems and needs of this era.
5   Understand in general and with their particular characteristic the specific and broad methods used in these activities.
6   Understand systematically the Tafsir problems with the aspect of method and content.
