Course Objective |
This course is designed to provide the students with a critical sensitivity and awareness in evaluating translated materials of various genres. The course also aims to help students to identify as well as to develop an appropriate discourse in critically analyzing and discussing the merits and the shortcomings of translations. By the end of the course, students are expected to gain new insights into different possibilities of treating a variety of translated texts (mainly, literary). |
