Course Objective |
This course is designed for law graduates to enhance their academic legal knowledge concerning Turkish juvenile system and juvenile justice systems in other jurisdictions. The course will be delivered in accordance with U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child, and developments in the context of Turkish juvenile system will be explained to students. The course will give the students the skills and knowledge about specific rules that are applied to juveniles in criminal and criminal procedure law and also at sentencing and probation stages. |
