Course Objective

The main requirement to survive in intense competition is to define mass information significantly which consist in today's environment which might be called information age. In this context, learning information technologies is considered as a positive element of competition both in the academic sense and in today's increasing competitive conditions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to know the evolution of computers scientifically and the basic concepts of hardware and software for computers.
2   To be able to understand the development of management information systems chronogically.
3   To repeat and review the management concepts and management processes and re-evaluate the basic functions of management with the concept of review.
4   To undertand the database and database management, to model the management information system and to know the operating mechanism.
5   To understand the CRM, MRP, ERP, data mining and artificial intelligence issues.
