Course Objective |
The main purpose of this course is to focus on the role of the European Union in the global economic system, with particular reference to EU trade policies and regimes at both multilateral and bilateral contexts. New configurations of power in a globalized economic system; globalisation vs regionalisation, globalisation and immigration, globalisation and environment, the changing dynamics of EU s global activity after the Lisbon Treaty will be some of the main topics to be studied. The major opportunities and threats for the EU in the globalized system will be analysed. |
