Course Objective

This course aims to provide the students a theoretical and interdisciplinary perspective on the evolution, dynamics and efficiency of EUs policies towards its eastern and southern neighbours.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to discuss the foundation and development of European Neighbourhood Policy in a theoretical context.
2   To be able to explain the role and significance of European Neighbourhood Policy in EUs external relations.
3   To be able to discuss the efficiency of EUs policies towards its eastern and southern neighbours.
4   To be able to explain the political and socio-economic implementations of European Neighbourhood Policy within an interdisciplinary perspective.
5   To be able to evaluate EUs policies towards its eastern and southern neighbours through the lenses of the neighbouring countries.
6   To be able to present his/her analysis and evaluations on European Neighbourhood Policy.
