Course Objective

The aim of the course is to put forward the utility and profit maximizing principles of micro units in the economy and to investigate welfare increasing principles of personal and social welfare

3 Equilibrum in the non-collusive oligopol models
4 Equilibrum in the collusive oligopol models
5 Short run equilibrum in the monopolistic competition market
6 Long run equilibrum in the monopolistic competition markets
7 Long run equilibrum in the monopolistic competition markets
8 Long run equilibrum in the monopolistic competition markets
9 Factor price formation in the conditions of perfect competition in the goods and services markets.
10 Factor price formation in the conditions of imperfect competition in the goods and services markets.
11 Welfare theorem: Pareto optimality
12 Efficiency and common efficiency in the production and consumption
13 Market failure: The presence of market power and externalities
14 The presence of public domains and asymmetric information
