Course Objective

To comprehend advanced harmony, counterpoint, formal analyze technics with theoretical knowledge in historical period.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Sonata form in musical forms and to be able to reflect the performance analyzing the importance of the classical era composers piano sonatas in literature.
2   To be able to state the musical forms, chords, technics according to with regard to their essential chracteristics.
3   To be able to describe the formal and textural frames used in the other forms in the classical era.
4   To be able to analyze the smallest form and the situation of a chord unit in total and the importance of it.
5   To be able to identify the similarities and contraries in musical forms.
6   To be able to interprete the formal elements and the effects of chords statements to the general statements of the works.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Exams: It will be conduct 2 written examinations throughout the term and the student will attain the 40 % of success grade from the written examinations
Assignments: The participants will attain 60% of success grade from the presentations and assignments.

Assessment Criteria

The written exams, presentations and the assignments aim to evaluate the effiency of the knowledge and performance described in the course outcomes.
