HUMAN FACTOR IN MARINE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS ENGINEERING
Human factor in shipping industry is the focus of attention in maritime accident research. This course deals with the human factors in design and operation covering human performance at sea, human errors, human orientated ship design for safety, human comfort, decision support systems, advanced design and optimization techniques using artificial intelligence in an integrated approach at marine engineering level.
