Course Objective

Risks that will arise during excavation works carried out in the construction of engineering structures will be identified. In particular, information will be given about the work that needs to be done regarding the recording and management of geotechnical risks. The dangers, precautions and lack of precautions in excavation works will be explained. In summary, examples from the world and Türkiye will be given after focusing on geotechnical risks and their precautions, which are of great importance in terms of occupational safety in excavation works.
