Course Objective

To teach biosafety, explain the relevant regulations and the relationships between environment, health and food biotechnology, to teach the meaning of biosafety in genetic studies, to teach the biosafety protocol and its applications, the give information about the recombinant DNA researches for some animals, and plants ,to give information about Cartagene protocol and biodiversity, to explain the methods for risk and social- economical evaluations, to give some informations for bio- ethic under biosafety regulations.

2   to learn the legal arrangements in biosafety, correlations between environment, health, food biotechnology and biosafety in genetic
3   to learn the Protocol for biosafety in Türkiye in Environmental Engineering, and their applications,
4   limits for biosafety in studied places
5   to learn microorganisms, animals and insects are used in the large-scale utilization of recombinant DNA molecule researches
6   prevention from bio-terrorism in biotechnology applications
7   to learn the Cartagena protocol and biodiversity
8   to learn the risk and social-economical evaluation and bio-ethic in biosafety regulations
