Course Objective |
This course aims to give information about issues such as conservation and planning policies, cultural heritage, space identity, city as a commodity and brand, and also aims to make evaluations in settlements with a historical core -whether attached or not attached to heritage tourism- based on field surveys and in this sense to attract attention to potential risks of heritage tourism and provide an understanding of sustainable heritage tourism that conserves the unique characteristics of space through regarding local people and promoting the participation of local actors. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
This course will be given through lectures aided by visual material and the students will learn topics by attending the lectures. Homework assignments will be prepared in accordance with the course content and presented by the student groups. |
