Course Objective

Nowadays, organic materials which produced from organic compounds find use in the lots of fields of material science. Organic functional groups in organic materials play an important role in the structure. This course demonstrates identification of the structure of organic materials and how the organic materials to comprehend the possible reactions of functional groups to train human resources. Aim of this course is to give an idea to students on basic backgrounds of organic structure and organic materials. In addition, defining organic functional groups and understanding relationship between structure in organic electronic materials are aims.Students will be given homework based on the presentation and design of the course and their evaluations will be used for measuring the success of the students.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course will go on as class presentation and sometimes will be in interactive format. All course members are expected to attend the lectures and submission hours and take part in the submission/discussion sessions. Besides, oral presentations on selected topics are to be prepared by the students.
