Course Objective |
This course covers the field of electro-optics and nano-optics which encompasses both optical sources and lasers that operate from the millimeter wavelength region to the x-ray region. In this course coverage of the most important nanostructured laser sources optical elements and detectors is provided. An introductory applications for such systems is also thought. A term-project related to the subject thought will be assigned to each student and written report and oral presentation will be required to have students to acquire firsthand experience of the current research. |
