Course Objective

The course aims to provide students from different fields the knowledge concerning basic concepts of planning, the basic characteristics of implementation plans, preparation processes of plans, the plan language for different types of plans and the concept of plan hierarchy, the basic technical tools used in implementation plans, location principles of different land-uses and design strategies and the fundamental framework of relations between different uses of land.

2   To have a conception of implementation plans on different scales,
3   To use the basic technical tools used in making implementation plans,
4   To relate different uses of land with the underlying location principles,
5   To apply design principles of different land uses to implementation plans.
