Course Objective |
This course aims at evaluating development strategies from framework of the new local and regional development dynamics, learning shifting development paradigms, the changing approaches in local and regional development, new regionalism, globalization - localization and processes of restructuring, new concepts (new industrial centers, industrial clusters, techno-parks, learning regions, inventive capacities, innovation, innovation systems, the new economy, creative economy, competitiveness and competitive regions and cities, networks approach and network-cities, new economic geography, local economic development strategies etc.) and samples of success |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
This course will be given through lectures. Students will learn topics by attending and listening the lectures. Homeworks will be given to students and they will be asked to prepare their homeworks on the subjects given to them. |
