Course Objective |
The main purpose of this course is to define the general consideration of port design, elements, facilities, management, objectives of port planning and development. This introductory course will begin with general overview of a marine terminal then continues on identifying each port element considering the economical, management, environmental and social issues. Then the aim of this course turns out to give an ability of a student a later on guide in their professional career. |

There will be a midterm examination and a term project which will be 25%+25 % of the overall success of the students. Final examination will be 50% of the resulting grade. |
