Course Objective

This course is aimed to sampling methods, imaging techniques and species-level identification of marine meiofauna organisms.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn current approach in taxonomy.
2   Knowledge about the taxonomically important characters of marine meiofauna.
3   Learn sampling method and prepairing for imaging and imaging techniques of marine meiofauna organisms.
4   Knowledge to how to identify basic meiofauna groups (Copepoda, Kinorhyncha, Tardigrada, Nematoda, Priapulida)
5   Learn the necessary pre-knowledge of writing taxonomical manuscript.

9 Scanning electron microscopy techniques of meiofanul animals
