Course Objective |
The seismic waves absorption is an extremely important issue in both the seismology and seismic prospecting. The factors that are still the research subject depending on absorption, and it is available some studies related to this issue. Although to measuring the seismic waves absorption is various techniques, generally this studies are made experiments on hard rocks in the laboratory or the evaluation by measuring of seismic wave amplitudes. However, The aim of this course gives to information about the absorption measurements on soft rock. |
