2 purposes of reservoirs, general characteristics of reservoirs, problems in reservoir design and operation
3 Water storage equations, storage-yield-risk relationships
4 Streamflow characteristics, low flow hydrology
5 Ampirical reservoir design methods: Critical period methods, Rippl, Sequential Peak method, and others
6 Minimum flow method, methods based on the distribution of n-years flow, Methods based on the frequency distribution of monthly flows
7 Probability matrix methods
8 Analytical reservoir design methods: range analysis, deficit analysis, Stochastic reservoir theory
9 Sample generation methods
10 Design of multi reservoir systems
11 Operation of reservoirs: Optimal operation policies
12 Simulation of reservoir operation
