Course Objective

This course aims to introduce students to the theory of deterministic hydrologic systems. One object of the course is to make the students aware of certain theories and techniques rather than to give them a perfect knowledge of the theory or the complete mastery of the techniques. Another aim of the course is to reformulate established concepts and techniques in terms of general systems approach and thus to extend their usefulness. For this purpose, this course is divided into 10 lectures.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to collect, interpret, apply, and evaluate the data.
2   To be able to solve the problems by using appropriate research methods.
3   To be able to have a critical approach to the gained knowledge and skills at the level of his expertise field.
4   To be able to have a systematic way to export the current developments and his/her work to the groups in and out of the field as written, oral and visual communication effectively.
5   To be able to gain high-level skills in using research methods.
