Course Objective |
The course aims to outline the history of Anatolian Turkish Architecture within the contexts of the social, economic and geographic backgrounds, institutions, settlement patterns, building typologies and construction techniques; to concentrate on a certain period, place or building typology; and to provide student s effective participation in the course by way of readings and discussions on the case study, a seminar based on a fieldwork, and a theoretical research paper. |
