Course Objective

After reviewing briefly the fundamentals of a programming language (particularly QBASIC etc.) and matrix operations, programming of simple applications and analyses by taking precedence in the areas of architecture and/or civil engineering- forms the main aim of the course

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have a certain level of knowledge in order to realize the various applications in architectural area by using a programming language.
2   To be able relate closely matrices and their operations with a programming language.
3   To analyze problems, especially, in structural area by translating them into computer environment
4   To propose alternative solution ways and solutions for problems
5   To evaluate alternative solutions reached
