Course Objective

In this course, it is envisaged that the student will examine, research and convert a topic into a written text, which will be determined by the student himself and finalized as a result of discussion. The studies are carried out through a novel with intense place descriptions. In principle, topic suggestions belong to the student and are free. The course is mainly conducted in seminar format.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to read the relationship between people and space through another field
2   To be able to analyze the relationship between architecture and literature,
3   Being able to look at literary texts from an architectural perspective,
4   Conducting individual research on a selected topic and being able to convey it visually, written and verbally

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

After the explanations of the teacher, students will make an analysis which derives from readings over the chosen novels and then the subject will be discussed by the class.
