Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the students to learn cryptography, security protocols and practical applications that have been implemented to provide network security.

1   Classify the security protocols.
2   Explain the technologies used in network security.
3   Choose secure network structures.
4   Describe authentication schemes of lightweight devices.
5   Explain new trends in network security.

By using presentation tools the course is taught in class. By giving programming assignments and project, all the students are expected to learn the security systems.
