Course Objective

To enable the student to demonstrate that she/he can carry out an independent piece of research on a theme in marine sciences in a scientifically sound manner and to exhibit her/his ability to address a specific problem in a scientifically sound, ethical, thorough and precise manner in the course of a given period of time, and to help the student to communicate his or her findings credibly.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Comprehend ethical guidelines to follow in any research activity.
2   Comprehend and how to avoid plagiarism.
3   Address and solve a specific problem in a scientifically sound, thorough and precise manner in the course of a given period of time.
