Course Objective

This course aims to be taught environmental impact in mining enterprises and infrastructure work which occur with the use of explosives, the methods and techniques which obtain to minimize the environmental impact of blasting and the subjects which obtain to be measured and evaluated for them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recognition of environmental effects of blasting, measurement and to gain proficiency interpretation
2   To make suitable choice of explosives and the ignition elements in order to prevent environmental effects
3   To make blasting design so as to prevent from the environmental impact
4   Gaining of the ability of applying special blasting techniques
5   To follow the legal process and comment on the environmental effects of blasting
