Course Objective

The aim of this course is the teaching the principles agglomeration methods which are the granulation methods for fine sized ore concentration. The agglomeration in term is the process of fine sized ore granulation for metallurgical process and also for coal.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowing the granulation mechanism in agglomeration and make commentment according the ore properties
2   Knowing the coal briquetting methods snd select the suitable methods for coal characteristics
3   Knowing the sintering technology and define the suitable sintering conditions according the ore properties
4   Knowing the pelletizing methods and adopting the pelletizing conditions
5   Determining the agglomerat strength and interpreting
