Course Objective |
Main aim of this lecture is to give some basic definitions about electromagnetic field theory, empedance equations for homogeneous horizontal layered medium, apparent resistivity and phase equations, theories of natural and controlled source magnetotelluric methods, two and three dimensional modelling, theory and applications of inversion in electromagnetic methods (finite differences, conjugate gradient, SVD, Occam solutions), applications of electromagnetic methods in geothermal, mining and hydrocarbon explorations. |
