Course Objective

In the course, the types of contaminants generated by vehicles will be given. The relation between pollution and traffic load, road type, and the distance from the road will be discussed. The remediation techniques for the soil pollution, the properties of soil, and contaminant behavior in soil matrix are also pointed out. And, finally, laws and regulations of Türkiye and other countries related with the topic are given.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1	To investigate the types of contaminants generated by vehicles with technology.
2	To edit literature data concerning soil Pollution.
3	To analyze Heavy Metal Pollution and control with advance in technology
4	To illustrate daily traffic value with road site soil pollution.
5	To investigate the forecasting of soil pollution and rehabilitation techniques.
